Urban Terror - бесплатный многопользовательский командный шутер.
Urban Terror, изначально появившийся как мод для Quake3, на данный момент является самостоятельной игрой.
В нём слились воедино реалистичность Counter Strike и драйв Quake 3. Использование движка Quake 3 говорит само за себя, скучать Вам не придётся.
Разработчики делают Urban Terror под девизом "Fun over Realism", оставив в игре аркадные элементы, такие как распрыжка, скольжение, отпрыгивание от стен. Также есть возможность подтягиваться на высокие препятствия. В руках опытного игрока эти элементы превращаются в мощный инструмент, позволяющий обыграть противника. Здесь во многих режимах игры, как в Quake, если вас подстрелил противник, вы возрождаетесь и снова можете вступить в бой, не дожидаясь конца раунда.
В игре присутствует несколько режимов игры:
- Team Death Match (TDM) - командное противостояние. Выигрывает команда, набравшая наибольшее количество фрагов в раунде.
- Team Survival (TS) - игра на командное выживание. Раунд продолжается до тех пор, пока не погибнет последний участник одной из команд.
- Capture the Flag (CTF) - захват флага. Один из самых интересных и сложных режимов игры. За отведенное время команда должна отнять у противника наибольшее количество флагов.
- Bomb mode - бомба. Тут все ясно без объяснений. Задача красной команды - взорвать определенный объект, задача синей - обезопасить объекты от подрыва.
- Capture and Hold - удержание флага. В нескольких точках на карте расставлены флаги. Задача команды - удерживать позиции у флагов максимальное количество времени. За определенное время удержания 1 флага начисляется очко. Выигрывает команда, набравшая наибольшее количество очков.
- Free For All - каждый сам за себя. Единственный не командный тип игры. Суть в том, что бы набрать наибольшее количество фрагов.
UrbanTerror предназначен для многопользовательской игры. Вы можете выбрать сервер для игры из обширного списка серверов, которые в данный момент находятся в Интернет. Можно запустить и свой сервер в локальной сети или на своём же компьютере.
